Conservative Agenda Manager:
Phil Graf
Phil
Graf is known to his friends (and many of his enemies) as
“Captain Phil.” He grew up in Sonoma County, California, before
the current dark plague of liberalism and political correctness
infected the area. He is a graduate of Analy HS (Sebastopol);
Santa Rosa JC; Infantry Officer’s Training School (Ft. Benning,
GA); and
California
State University
(Sonoma).
Capt Phil is a licensed commercial, instrument rated aircraft
pilot, as well as a USCG-licensed Master of sail and power, He
has sailed vessels ranging from catboats to square riggers, in
waters from Denmark to the Mediterranean, Maine to the
Caribbean, and Canada to Mexico.
Capt Phil is a former US Army
officer whose service with the famed 82nd Airborne Division
included jumping out of perfectly good airplanes. His last duty
assignment was teaching marksmanship, advanced infantry training
& small unit tactics at Fort Ord, where he says his main job was
to “…receive pampered boys from their mothers, and send back
disciplined, motivated young men to their communities.”
During his "cowboy era," Phil
competed in western riding and rodeo competitions, originated
and called an exhibition square dance on horseback, and was
judged the “fastest gun in the west” by James Arness (tv’s Matt
Dillon of “Gunsmoke.”)
Mr. Graf's business
background includes having been licensed in real estate,
securities, and insurance. He has built spec homes, raised
venture capital for partnerships and syndications, and developed
investment projects in California and Utah.
Today, Mr. Graf is Senior
Editor and Bureau Chief for Coast Writers Syndicate, a media
distribution service. His mission is to rein in runaway
bureaucracy, abuses of government under color of law, and the
hypocrisy of political correctness. He advocates getting elected
officials back to constitutional limitations, and returning
government to the control of the governed. He emphasizes the
theme “It’s High Time For Renewed American Integrity.”
Capt. Phil was the
first from-off-campus speaker to the Rancho Cotate High School
Conservative Club, speaking about the Second Amendment and the
Bill of Rights. When he and club president, Tim Bueler, were
confronted with student protestors wearing “Remember Columbine”
t-shirts, Capt Phil presented them with his monograph, “We Need
More Guns In Schools.” He caused enough community controversy to
begin to put the Conservative Club on the map. He also designed
and helped establish The Conservative Agenda, the HSCCA
newsletter, and serves as its editor.
